Hot Pink Zebra Blanket

This is the most recent blanket I crocheted

It was a gift for my brother's girlfriend.

Hole Be Gone

A couple months ago I was shopping and found a slouchy sweater that was only $5.00! I quickly grabbed it up to inspect it. Why so cheap? There was a hole right above the right breast. I thought it was a good deal considering I was getting it 75% off so I decided to buy it and cover the hole somehow. Months later, like all my projects, I finally covered up the hole. I made some fabric flowers out of lace, chiffon, and inexpensive "silk" and attached them to the shirt. What do you think?

It's been awhile since I've written a post. Mostly because of my finals at school and the holidays. Let me just say that I am sure glad I don't have to go back to school until January 23rd! This means I get to work on and finish all of my craft projects.

My mom gave me a sewing machine for Christmas! Eeek! Needless to say, I was excited. The first sewing project I finished were slip covers for my couch pillows. I wasn't a fan of the stock pillows the furniture store gave me. I used this pattern and just adjusted the measurements. It was super easy and made a big difference in my living room.
My new sewing machine, the Singer Curvy!
